Looks good Todd. I eventually want rims like what came on my 04 that I used to have. Basically like yours except they have black in there as well.

Hey Everyone - went to a fun Car Show here in St. Louis today. It was ALL CHEVY!!! The oldest was a 1941 black sedan - the newest was a 2012 Corvette. There were several Montes - including our own zjerry with his beautiful black SS. My favorite generation was represented too - a 1981 and a 1985 MC. When I got home I spent four hours in the driveway detailing the engine and body for tomorrow's oil change (can't let the boys at Jiffy Lube see a dirty Monte Carlo). I hope everybody here had an enjoyable Sunday too...in the company of your favorite piece of automotive equipment.

 

Fixin to go grab some supper before I head to work at 8. I still can't believe I woke up at 10 and couldn't get back to sleep. Gonna be a long night and I'm already getting tired. Doesn't help that there's storms in the area and my knee is really feeling it right now. Hopefully that means I'll sleep well tomorrow after work. As it is, I'm not looking forward to work at all.

 

I just took the new Monte out for a little cruise(15-20 miles) nothing to long. I have to say I'm really liking the 3800 in it, runs pretty nice, It has a few dings and dents and other noises but I think it's a pretty good runner so far. Although it's nothing like my 06, it sure is a nice ride......

Chris the 5th gens are like driving a couch arent they, lol. So much more comfortable to drive than pretty much anything you can buy right now. Not overly coushy either like a grand marquis or a big lincoln, they still feel sporty when you push them hard. Thats why I like driving my car so much. Its a zen driving experience. lol.
