“When I was a boy of 14, my father was so ignorant I could hardly stand to have the old man around. But when I got to be 21, I was astonished at how much the old man had learned in seven years.”

I went to the races last night and now I have the bug to build me another FWD car. Probably have to pass bcoz it would only cause trouble on the home front. Sure was fun though when I raced...

Hi `Jerry, what type of racing ? Why a FWD ? Did you ever consider building a adult Go-Kart or two of them ? One 4 U & one 4 your Son ? Great Father/Son project & then you could both Race...I think it would be a great project/bonding/learning experience ?

Beretta's and Cavalier's. They are fun to race. Not quite as expensive as V8 racing. Here are a couple pics. You may have already seen them. Hunter could actually race this coming season at age of 14 with my permission. Been thinking about it.

I bet `Hunter could beat you in a race ? ~> lol
I hope when I have a son that we will be able to do things (like racing etc) 2gether ~> 4-Sure...

Afternoon. Not really any football to watch since the Lions play tomorrow night vs. Chicago. Looking forward to game 1 of the World Series this Wednesday and will be watching NLCS game 6 tonight. Honestly I don't know who I'd prefer the Tigers face: St. Louis or San Francisco? St. Louis would be a rematch of 2006 when the Tigers made their last run to the World Series and lost. Either way, Detroit is on a roll.
Went to run a few errands this morning and took a cruise through downtown Ann Arbor to see what was going on the morning after the big football game. Both vehicle and pedestrian traffic seemed a lot heavier than usual on a Sunday morning. Lots of people still hanging around. Cleanup was underway around the stadium and on the UofM Golf Course across from the stadium where the majority of people tailgate. Few shots of downtown:

Hey Matt: Thanks for posting the pictures of the lake. Its been years & years since I've been up there. I love it up there. The tall pines and the water. That one pic looks like your on the water. Sure does bring back some real good memories. We used to go to West branch for a Harley-Davidson Hog run . Just love it around those area's and miss it. Thanks again for the nice shots
