Morning all, as you can see, very colddddd all over! due to a double cold front that moved across the country, The 2nd one being an artic cold front! stay warm

 

Morning everyone.

It's about 10 degrees right now this morning. We got some of the lake effect flurries yesterday; a few heavier ones but nothing that stayed stuck to the ground for a long time. Areas of the State reporting 6+ inches of snow on the ground; all from lake effect so far.



Finished up for the season this year so here's some stats on how the Monte did in 2013:

● Total miles driven – 2,913
● Total gallons used – 142.89
● Average MPG – 20.38
● Percent city driving – 68%

● Total fuel-ups – 11
● Avg. price/fuel-up - $50.00
● Avg. price/gallon - $3.85
● Avg. price/mile - $0.189

● Best MPG – 24.5
● Best distance on a fuel-up – 332.4

 

Good Morning every one. Crazy cold here near Lansing MI. Heavy frost over everything.


Grocery shopping with the wife today then field day on the house for Thanksgiving we are only having a dozen folks over this year. Last hear we had 22.

Thanks for starting the daily blog.

Chipper friggn cold for sure!
Froze our butts off last night in my garage. My stepson had to use it to work on his motherinlaws car... We spent around 6 hrs in there... But we eventually got it repaired and back out of my garage...

Started the Monte in thegarage as well as started the sierra just to keep some charge in the batterys with this sudden cold snap. Going to pickup an extra battery tender later today and get them both ready for the long cold winter..

Afternoon all - just got back from the show - won't know until after 3pm if Brent won gold with his Z. I'll tell ya one thing, my Monte is much cleaner than the Z.

Afternoon all Just checking in. Its freeezing here too. My battery was dead last night after work so i put it on the charger today. I hope it holds out for a month or so. at least till after christmas.


EDIT: It just took me 4 hours to catch up on the fourm. I need to check in more. lol

 

evening all, quite cold here as well. Only about 19 with wind chills plenty lower.

 

Evening everyone. Spent the afternoon helping my buddy rip out the motor and take off the brake lines and wheels off of his project vw bug, I think he has bitten off more than what he thought as the deeper it gets ripped apart the more he is finding, which is always the case lol, but by the time all is said and done it should be under $1500 cash out of pocket and it will be rebuilt and painted and all fixed, so not too bad.

Time to turn the heat up around here as well, brisk cold winds coming in and I don't like it lol
