-->Every car has a story, and for Tadd Laduke, his car story is more of a journey.
The Mason man drove his 2006 Monte Carlo SS on Route 66 from Arizona to Illinois as part of a weeklong trip through much of the western United States.
“It was wonderful because you hook up with a bunch of other guys driving modified cars,” Laduke said. “It’s like a mini-car show at every rest stop.”
Laduke, for the second time, brought his award-winning car to the Olds Transportation Museum’s 20th Annual Car Capital Celebration Car Show on Saturday at Adado Riverfront Park.
The show, which benefits the R.E. Olds Transportation Museum, features all makes and models of cars, stretching from a 1905 Oldsmobile Curved-Dash to a 2013 Shelby Mustang.
“It is a celebration of cars,” said Bill Adcock, director of the R.E. Olds Transportation Museum.

Tadd, congratulations! That's exciting, to be featured in the newspaper story. Where did you get the pinstriping and new graphics for the Deuce? Post pix when you get her all dressed up.
Space, my plan for the day is to stand outside and appreciate the RAIN!!! After several weeks of drought and extreme heat we're finally getting some rain. My garden looks better already. The temp right now is 74*, about 30* cooler than yesterday afternoon!
