Yes quite a few of us are from Michigan; I'm in Ann Arbor myself. We have a few Meets in Michigan each year if you're interested.

what a cold crummy day... but at least I got some stuff taken care of. got a hair cut, new battery for the truck (was dead when I went to start it today), got my fishing liscance for 2014 and gas in the truck. started the monte to let it warm up for a few too (go figure it fired right up).
spent all day yesterday waiting for a call to go into work to plow snow... call never came. then at 9:58 PM my cell phone picked up a signal, and I got 3 voicemails from my boss... wanting me to come in to work at 6:00... then wondering where the hell I was.... apparently he lost my home phone number, which is the only reliable phone I have.... so I sent him a text with a brief explanation and now I get to talk that over with him tomorrow... awesome.

Lots of people getting dead batteries with this cold, had to jump start my horizon the other day. 04 starts good since its got a fresh battery, and I'm sure the 97 would fire up just fine, but theres no reason to run it

yeah, i'm actually pretty impressed with the battery that was in the truck. it was almost 10 years old, started to crank kinda slow last winter with the cold, this winter again just started cranking slow... I guess not starting it in the cold yesterday was enough to let it die. gotta love an interstate battery!

Horizon has an interstate battery and I've had to jump it twice since I've had the car, but it keeps on going after that. Even left the lights on for a while once and it stil started.

Tadd, best wishes to you and Rhonda.
Keane and Skylark, I sadly had to replace the original battery in my SS last week, it made it 269 990 kms so it didn't owe me a dime.
Snowed last night and this afternoon, just enough to make the roads nice a slushy, but on the positive went out to my recording studio today and had a 3 hour practice and figured out a couple new songs in the process
Hope everyone enjoyed their weekend.
