Morning gang!!
This stinks, I am beginning to come down with something.... Sore throat and congestion. I stopped at the grocery store and loaded up on an old schoool remedy for these issues.... Orange Juice!
I have to return the rental vehicle soon.... But I have temporary wheels (so the Monte does not come out) until I can find a new car. I was working on my step-mom's car (that she hasn't been using since my dad had knee surgery). I found out why the remote start would work, but the key was intermittent. Back when dad put in a remote start years ago, he bought a kit with a T-harness (to avoid some of the splicing). Well, I was going to replace the ignition switch, pulled it up and out and one harness slide right out!! Every time I plugged it in, it would not "clip" in, so a big fat zip tie is wrapped around the entire thing. Now the key works every time!!
I'm still hunting for the new winter/daily car. I still have my eyes out for another '02+ Grand Am GT (I'd love it if I could score an orange one).
The wife and I plan to see the RoboCop remake next weekend. I liked the original RoboCop, but after that, the movies went down hill.
You people have a sick idea of a "gift" lol! I know EVERYONE will be happy when this winter is over. For our location, Mother Nature is paying us back something fierce for giving us a few easy winters. It's almost funny hearing about southern locations being hammered by these crap temps AND getting SNOW!!

I want to hear more about this movie. Did you like it? Were you a big fan of the original? I think this is a tough movie to remake without director Paul Veerhoven. I like the way he does tv newsflashes in sci-fi movies like Robocop and Starship Troopers. I hope the new movie tries this.

yo gang. another day ful of snow. i have the mornin off but have to go in later today. this has ben the most relaxing weeknd ive had for a while. was nice to hang out wit some friends last ngith and watch a movie. the guy who invited everyone ovr has an awesome big tv too!

Yes...rough night last night had to feed my addition to the net...lol
Actually was awoken by some serious knee pain..just happen to jump on the forum and fixed the afore mentioned date correction..

Disappointed in the finish of the Ultimate (Shootout) but it looks like the Boys will have there hands full with the new Nascar Regulations/parts etc...
Going to be watching qualifying at 1pm for the 500..
Lizzy got an EO(early out) from work today (its her Friday)without being penalized. So, today is a shake it easy day... for us...
Little snow fell over night into this morning... but the suns out...
kinda makes it a little easier to take with the added snowfall.
