It's a beautiful sunny day here. A great day for enjoying a cruise or car show in your Monte.

A local Chevy dealership that I know very well is having their 6th annual fall car cruise next month. Consists of a show and a cruise. They advertise it as "Muscle cars, street rods, classic, antiques, rat rods, and customs". This is the second year that they've asked me to enter my Monte. But I really don't think my Monte qualifies, given the categories mentioned above. Most people consider the Dale Jr Monte as simply a stock 9 year old Monte with a sticker package. Including many Monte enthusiasts.

I've been thinking about their invite. But I'm on the fence about it. I'm pretty sure people are more interested in seeing classics (like a 57 Chevy), old muscle cars, and antiques. I don't think people are gonna be too interested in seeing a "9 year old Monte with a sticker package".

I should add that this is not a Chevy-only, or even a GM-only, event. All brands are welcome. Ford, Chrysler, etc.

Today started off good. Nice out got the lawn mowed. Then a big ol migraine hit me. Looks like the rest of the day will be spent laying down in pain

I'm back and awake somewhat......My tooth feels better now after some sleep and taking an un-prescribed pill that I have here....... Not sure I like doing that but it helped me the last 2 nights, they pretty much knock me out and I don't think I want to take one tonight because it could really mess up my day tomorrow with work? I'm gonna try and get an appointment tomorrow to get this taken out but the hours at the dentist I'll go to are from 1pm - 9pm, so I gotta try and get through the day before then to get this done........

Good evening everyone! Late check-in today!

Absolutely exhausted! running on 3 hours of sleep...the wife wasn't home and I felt a little lonely, hung out with my friend Dave again. drank a few beers, played some videogames...got my butt whooped in guitar hero. We unexpectingly stayed up till like...4:30am @__@ Actually wound up staying there overnight, probably the most awkward thing ever.. Both of us went to a car show today. Took a total of 255 photos!! I'll have them up in the next few days or so... ugh! so many!

Oh yea. I parked across from another Dale Jr!!!! It was so freaking cool!!!! His plate was "141 ss" Needed a little tlc, but It was awesome parking near it! wish I got to meet the guy/girl!

 

Feeling much better now that this migraine is going away. Ruined a perfectly nice day I would have love to been out side.
I haven't had a migraine this bad in a long time.
On the plus side Jess starts her new job tomorrow. Only took 7 years to find one that she went to school for. I hope this job makes her happy the last one she hated
