mornin' folks! took a couple of days "off" because i had an oppertunity to work out at carlisle for 60% more $$, lol. so spent wednesday up 'till last night walking around more corvettes than i could ever want to see, and working thursday thru saturday helping set up and cook at our friends burger stand outside the back gate of the fairgrounds. had a blast like always and even managed to get my hands on a dealer promo model of a red 5th gen it's an exact replica of my car!

You always seem to be able to extract the best from `life...I admire that about you 4-Sure...

I hope it's contagious to other member's...
Did you get a chance to take any pic's @ the show ? Oh, did you get `free burgers' ? Were they good ? How much were they ? Did you bring any back for us ? > LOL >

I've got my info/pictures just about ready to send in for a feature in the NMCOA magazine. Just trying to make a final decision on 3-4 pictures out of the ones I narrowed it down to.

Good morning friends. Yesterday was a great day. Hung with a good friend at a great car show then later on went to a music festiable at downtown mason with wifey eating dinner at a patio restaurant right by the stage!

 

Hi space, glad to see you're still around for now! i'm planning to get a pic with the model next to the monte and post in keane's "your model next to your car" thread.

i didin't take any pics at the show, even though i had my camara. after a while all the 'vettes start to blend togeather, lol. i was reminded of you though when i saw a club tent with the name "Beach Bums corvette club" on it, lol.

oh, and i did get as many free burgers and hot dogs as i wanted, along with fresh pumpkin roll and some great dinners too (like pork loin with fresh picked corn & potatos cooked on the grille with grilled peaches for dessert, yum!)

Chris I've been hospitalized cause of a bad tooth. 4days in the hospital on nationals week end sux. Make sure you get antibiotics too. They never gave me any when they pulled a broken wisdom tooth. That's how I got stuck in the hospital
