Just my opinion. But GM needs to quit trying to make a Cadillac version of everything. No Cadillac trucks, SUV's, cross overs, muscle cars, minivans, bicycles, pizza delivery wagons, grocery carts, etc, etc, etc, what ever. Just stick to what Cadillac is known for. The ultimate in a domestic luxury car.

The Cadillac honestly has about the same interior as a Chevy Impala from the same time period to me. That, I find unacceptable.
Lol, well I guess we can agree to disagree on this one guys.

The ford woody is awesome, so are the chevy nomads. The new cadilliac is either you like it or your dont. I do agree cadillac needs to pick a market, and what i find amusing is that the $110k+ corvette ZR1 has the same cheap plastic interior as any other car, its got the same steering wheel as my moms HHR except it has a corvette badge slapped on.

I had to drive a 2003 Ford Focus wagon before I got my monte and it definitely ruined wagons for me!

agreed. the Monte Carlo has a very nice interior. dont get me wrong. infact, i used to be against GM all together. then i drove my grandpas 03 Silverado. i was really impressed. but, when it comes to cadillac, you expect it to be top of the line and superior to all other GM cars out there today. sorta like it was back in the 50's. i think people still see it that way and buy them mainly for status.

if i had money to buy a cadillac, id be shopping for a 1957 eldorado show car

Here is one I found on LS1Tech.com. It belongs to "ta25th". Hope he doesn't mind me using his pics, but his wagon is gorgeous!

Sorry it doesn't do anything for me. I don't deny it isn't a nice car just not for me. If that car was in my driveway it would mean I had company. Hehe. As far as I am concerned the last Cadillac was built in 1992 in the form of the Fleetwood Brougham. I know that they built a Fleetwood Brougham in 1993 and after but it didn't look right. The contour egg design worked ok on the Caprice, Roadmaster, and Olds 98 but didn't work on the Caddy. Cadillac has lost its identity and now that Ford has dropped the Towncar after 2011 the Lincoln has also lost its identity. If I wanted a luxury car that looks like a BMW, I'd buy a BMW, not a Caddy or a Lincoln. I buy a Lincoln or Caddy because they look like what they are.
I have seen some nice Caddy wagons that were built in the 70's on the DeVille chassis. They are not common as most Caddy wagons were hearses but not all.
