Something I have been building ...

@(all who have responded): Thank you for the outstanding feedback. Sometimes this stuff grabs some folks, sometimes it does not.
@Space, Sir: Thanks for noticing that I obviously tinker with photography, too. With good lighting, which I have a decent setup I have built, I simply use my point-&-shoot Canon SD780 IS (PowerShot Digital Elph), but for the real close-ups, I actually break out my 'ol trusty Minolta X-370 35mm with macro lens. Yes, a few of those shots were on FILM!
@Jester_20: A fully sleeved PC build was something I have wanted to do for over a year, ... & it took a looong time to gather the additional funds to get just the right materials I wanted ... Just like most of us here would say that Chevrolet is the best car maker, OR Monte Carlo is the best car, etc., well, www.MDPC-X.com makes, hands down, the best cable sleeve & related products in the world ... Sleeve, heatshrink, metal crimps, etc. Insanely high-end product(s) at INSANELY high prices (I have a TON left over for more PC builds, & even some Monte Carlo uses, but I still have near $300 invested in their product), directly from Munich, Germany! (Yeah, I know ... USA! USA! USA!)
@Tadcaster: Thank you for the kind words & interest in what I have accomplished so far ...
Stock specs are as follows -
AMD Phenom II X4 970 Black Edition (3.5GHz)
Mushkin Enhanced Ridgeback DDR3 1600 (8GB)
Sapphire ATI Vapor-X Radeon HD 6770 PCI-e 2.1 (1GB GDDR5)
Mushkin Enhanced Callisto Deluxe 2.5" 60GB SSD (OS)
Western Digital Caviar Black 3.5" 1TB 7200RPM 64MB SATA 6.0Gb/s (x2)
Mushkin Enhanced Volta 600W PSU
I will not tinker with the settings until I have all the cables sleeved & routed they way I want, & have all the panels back on the case, etc., ...
For the time being I am only allowing the RAM to run at 1333. It is rated at 1600, & will run soundly over 1800, but first I will need to find a happy medium with the CPU bus speed, then go from there.
As far as the CPU itself, I will go through a bunch of trial & error with onder- & over-volting it & "upping" the multiplier(s), respectively ... Good thing I installed a CMOS resetter (switch) in the back of the case ... It will save TONS of time not having to constantly grabbing the long needle-nose pliers to pull the tiny jumpers to reset everything everytime I lock the damn thing up.
