Default Soldering Tips

Hey guys i'm going to be trying to solder the power button back onto my laptop because it broke off. I've done some soldering before but not a ton on computers. You guys have any tips? Thank

Make sure you don't get the board too hot because you will ruin it.

Yeah don't touch the tip to the board for too long, only a few seconds to the joint to heat it up. Put a little solder right on the tip (tin the tip) before you start. There's lots of good youtube videos on soldering electronics that might help.
