theres a guy here with a Ford Probe... he thinks he's all that.... he ran like the slowest time at the drag strip the other night, about 11.5 on out 1/8th mile

 

yeah rj i feel ya bro. and ty you truly are a good friend. and duane d00d tell that probe to find me in danville and lets race for pinks, i could use another fix or repair daily for target practice

 

believe me, i thought about it. i'd hate for something to happen in the middle of the race and lose because of a breakdown. cheaper to just fix whats wrong than buy another car

 

A guy I used to be friends with (met him while I was caught up in the Nascar die cast phase) owned a Furd Probe. He thought it was the fastest thing this side of Kil-Kare drag way.

I used to laugh at him when he'd give me a hard time about wanting to race one of my '57s.

Speaking of '57 Chevies. This guy had a net buddy he'd locate, buy then sell '57 to this net bud. One night a group of us met in Wal-Mart toy department waiting on the new Racing Champions stuff to get put on the shelves. This older guy and the Furd Probe guy were talking about '57. The Probe owner said his net buddy was a REAL '57 Chevy enthusiest. The older guy pointed at me and said "The man ain't chopped liver. He ownsfive REAL '57s. Not a bunch of die cast."

I had to laugh my @$$ off.
