Hi `Ted, I'm just happy that we have so many choices in vehicles to choose from & to fit our budget....I've learned it's not fun to have a car that owns you....& you don't have the funds to enjoy driving it, or maintain it properly....I've met many that have new cars, & they don't have money to do anything else in life...
I do wish I had a AweSome Monte like yours, but I'll keep dreaming & saving : )
But let's face it: When all is said and done, most of us don't base decisions on such a detailed accounting of the costs. Comfort, style, image, safety, convenience and reliability -- these are the forces motivating the vast majority of Americans who decide to buy a new car. So be it. The important thing is to choose the right car and get to the best possible deal. <!-- / message -->
Thanks `Member's for your post/comments and sharing your experiences when it comes to keeping what you have or going in debt to buy a new one

My Monte will never leave my life, it means more to me then almost anything in this world...Yes getting a new car is great and I'd like to always keep adding to my collection, but monte will forever be in my stable...
