Serious Question

the tahoe looks pretty clean. the 5.7s are great for towing...lots of torque.
one thing to check: pop open the radiator cap and see if the coolant level is up. if it's low, that could mean the intake manifold gasket is leaking. or else have the dealer pressurize it for you so you can see if the cooling system holds pressure. if not, that's big bucks in repair (mostly) labor if you don't wanna do it yourself. those 5.7's are notorious for the leaking manifold gasket.

Update: the tahoe is a phantom vehicle that they don't have. The guy was jerk so I wouldn't have bought it anyway. Here is what I am thinking for plan B. What do you guys think.

Well you know what opinions are like but, I like it, the two door Blazer has got that sportier look to go with the hot boat and the colors are a closer match, if that's your concern... Though the only time I really notice boat and truck matching are professional bass fishers, but as I said looks good, honestly I like it much better. Good luck and keep us informed!

I am not concerned about the colors matching. I have a buddy that has a 2008 Malibu that he spent 65,000 on. He brought it home and the wife didn't like how it looked behind the truck so they went and bought a new Ford F350 to match it. It has been a running joke for awhile now.
I like the blazer better as well since it is just me and the dog right now.
