Well whats up with all you folks! Interesting week this past week I sold my old 2006 SUV.
I took my new Blazer to a Car show and won a Trophy.
Then Saturday evening my son was hit by a Drunk Driver with all his Family in the Car.

My new Blazer that got a Trophy

I am beginning to think this particular posting place called the Members Blog is hiding.
this is however a good spot to tell about what you doing with your car.
Most new members are trying to find a solution for the problem with their Car and once solved they are never heard for again. Stick around it's a good place to learn.

Anybody out there? Some new photo's of the Red Rider took it to another Carshow, because I didn't want to get the Monte Carlo out of the Garage.
But I will this coming weekend. Might go to a couple of shows if the weather will be good.

Hello all,

Been driving my Monte at least once a week now. Still needs some tweaking but it runs good enough as long as I don't get on the throttle super heavy. Still needs paint though...

The wife's Tucson broke down, been trying to trace what the issue is, but it's baffling. It has spark, good compression, and gas at the fuel rail, but it seems like none of the injectors are firing. The fuse is good. A real head scratcher.

I sure hope your son (and family) are doing okay!

Those are the first pics I've seen of your Blazer and I gotta say it's the nicest one I've seen. I would have given it the prize!

I've been a lazy forum member. I still read a little daily, but I haven't played with my Monte too much this year, so I have little to post of relevance here.

Back in April, my father passed. I inherited a bit of money and was just getting set to go crazy on my car when my brother, who also inherited a bit of money, bought a new SUV and GAVE me his old one - a 2004 Yukon XL Denali. It's a great stable mate for the Monte since they are the same age. It's in good shape, but he'd also bought a newer 26 foot trailer which was close to the 8600 lb towing capacity of the Denali, so he went a bought an Escalade. Anyways, even in good shape, the Denali needed some work and it stole all the attention that the Monte was going to get this year. I'm done spending on the truck and fixing for now, and I still do have a bit of money left over earmarked for the BudChev. It just seems a little late in the season to get rolling now, so upgrades will probably wait until spring. I'm keeping the car forever, so I'm in no hurry.

Dang thing is too big too get a good photo of in my driveway! I think the truck compliments the Monte nicely with similar stylized fenders. If this was 2004, I'd be the coolest guy on the street

Kinda frustrated that most of the major shows out here are still cancelled. Granted summer is the slow time of year out here, but its been very light lately. Still have some of the small privately run shows, but pretty much all of the big hitters are still shut down.

Worst for me is the Saturday night cruise in up in Scottsdale. That shows been running every Saturday for almost 30 years and always gets some kind of turn out every Saturday. Since everything went down, they've got police actively parked at the property to ensure no one loiters.

Even if I didn't plan to show a car that night, its still cool to add to a cruise loop to pop in and see whats out there.

My son Graduated College in 2009 and he moved to Phoenix to work on a road construction project he was one of several construction Mgrs. and his wife was a designer for Ashley Furniture back then. We visited them a couple of times and we were talking the other day about the Flamingo Car Wash in Scottsdale. We really were impressed with it when they did the car. Never seen anything like that up in Nebraska.

Yeah we were impressed with the Color mostly it's a pretty cool ride. This weekend I was taking some photo's and found another one parked in a park so I pulled up and we traded a few stories. That one is a 2019 a darker Red or wine color.

You can see the other Blazer in the background
