i like that pick space. back on topic there should be a test for every one from 17 to 105 years of age not just one. the generations have really bad drivers that need to be taken off the road and beaten horribly by the people who dodged the bad driver

Default driving.....

[quote=monte carlo 3831;209361]here you go nascar43, you win

..LOL.No offense taken.that's too funny. Always wanted one of those...

Back on topic: It seems that there just needs to be a common courtisy out there on the roadways of this great country. Some
people don't need to drive like the road is ALLLL their's. Just learn to drive defensively. I realize that this can't
be controlled......parking lot dents....unforseen hazards on the road. Like I said earlier, it's a touchy subject because being able to drive
is a freedom that not everyone has or will ever get to do. It probably is a good idea for everyone to be road tested every
couple of years. I get my vision tested at least every other year.
My only surviving Uncle is 86 and is losing his sight. He doesn't drive down here anymore so I have to go see him now. But he
understands that his ability is not safe for him or anyone else.
It's just hard to let go of the reigns....when you're having fun.
Don't be so hard on the older generations because WE are going to be there some day. And some kid in his/her Jetson XLR50000
will be yelling at us to move over.

some people drive better than others regardless of age...hence the suggestion that we test every so often...but you cant help when someone else decided to be stubborn and continue to drive when they are visually or have some other means of impairment...that would understandably tick someone off....especially if it causes an accident or worse...(plenty of proof of that...)....senior citizens are an integral part of the community there's no question of this...stubbornness/stupidity are in-discriminatory traits....I actually got t boned by someone trying to flip a U turn on a 2 way road with a turning lane down the middle...and she had the nerve to ask me to pay for her damages...she went from being parked by the sidewalk to turning through her lane into the turning lane and into my lane....where she t boned me without seeing me somehow...so I feel your pain...luckily though...when she did the claim she believed it was my fault and i would have to pay....her insurance covered everything...ignorant in not only driving but also when it comes to her insurance policy....ignorance is not bliss...

All you young folks talking about taking driver's license's away from old folks. Just remember one day when you're old and gray, some young punk will be trying to take your license away.
