Guys... we had a REALLY close call.
My mother called me around 2 this afternoon... it has been 106* outside today, she left the dog outside by accident around 10am. She didn't even think about it and left and told me at 2 when she thought about it.

I got there, the dog was outside and I had to pick her up and carry her inside, feed her water from my hands, and put her in front of a fan while holding a cold washcloth on her... she didn't cool down for an hour and a half... she fell asleep and I stayed for another couple of hours to check on her...

Augi is fine now, but I had a scary experiance nonetheless.

close call! I'm glad Augi is OK, that heat can really be bad on humans and dogs.

i hear ya on the heat, the air conditioning in my store has been busted since early july and its very warm by the registers. Can't wear shorts, so its pants and a heavy shirt. No drinks allowed, no bathroom break unless its an absolute emergency and if you take more than 5 minutes you loose your break. I think its a bit much to ask, and after working there a year i'm speaking in the kindest words i can........ Anyone else have a job where they get the wonderful experience of dealing with the public?
