Gotcha. Any clue on if it's a Z28 or not? You should tell him a friend on the forum your on has a 73 Z28. If he needs technical info I know what direction to point him in (unless he's already a member over on NastyZ28)

Honestly no clue what model it is. Dont think it's a Z28 as it has no badges anywhere and it doesn't look like there ever was any. Just says camaro, not sure what engine either, he thinks its the 305.

If the 5th digit of the VIN is a G, then it's a 305 (unless it's been swapped out at some point).

Hmm i'll keep that in mind. But i dont know when i'll see the car again. My friend was on break from college and has since gone back up. The car stays here though.

Just changed the Camaro's Alternator today. I was having terrible voltage issues with that car (would drop to below 11 volts while in N), now my ScanGauge is saying that I have over 14 volts all the time again

Hey , Sarge , My dad bought a 1967 camaro SS 396 4 speed new ,I wish he would have keep it.. I had a 1977 camaro 350 / 4 speed , wife had a 1978 camaro 305 / auto trans.. Miss my camaro..
