Mornin guys. Found out right before lunh that they canceled work tomorrow. So I get a full weekend wohoo! Gonna go look for a new place to live so wish me luck. Ready to get moved closer to work so I'm not burning up so much time (and gas) in my commute.
Hope y'all have a good one.

Mornin' folks!
Sorry I haven't been postin' so much. Hands are kinda full, time is tied. I actually do get online to read a lot more than I've been posting.
I'm sick again! That really sucks. I gotta try to stay away from our baby, but mommy still needs the help. I hope it don't spread through the house. I'll be able to work today, then I'm off for the next 3 days - plenty of recovery time. I only ever seem to get sick on weekends because I haven't used a sick day at work in about 6 years, but I catch some kind of cold ever season.
I hope you can find a great place to live close to work Sgt. I enjoy a short 5 minute drive to work. I can come home on a lunch break (if I get one). Living close to work gives you a lot of time back and time is the hardest thing to earn. One morning I stepped out of the house with no keys and locked the door behind me - whoops! I locked myself out of the house and the car. So I ran to work

Good mornin' all.
Looks like it's going to rain off and on today, so I think I'll spend the day helping a friend assemble the 383 sbc he's dropping in his '75 Monza. When he told me what he wanted to do the first thing I told him was to fabricate (or have fabricated) subframe connectors. I used to have a '73 Vega Hatchback with a 383/M21/12 bolt posi set up and neglected to strengthen the frame on it. After swapping rear end gears from a 3:56 to a 4:11 (trying to break into the high 11's) I found out why I should have. I launched a bit too hard one weekend and when I slammed 2nd gear the unibody tweaked and the front windshield popped out. With the car sitting on level ground the driver side front wheel sat about 2" off the ground. Needless to say my second Vega street/strip project (a GT wagon) went straight to the frame shop to be strengthened before any other work started. Never did break into the 11s, but it did run consistent low 12s all season long and never broke anything. Enjoy your weekend all...

Hi everyone,
Don't think I've been on for months now, but I couldn't escape it. Rain here in southern Ohio. Didn't go to the nationals this year, instead spent money on minor bodywork since the rear wells were rusting on me a little. I'm part of an amateur band with some friends so if the weather clears I'll look forward to taking a country drive out to where we practice at. An uneventful Saturday it is besides that. Hope everyone's been doing good.
