Happy fathers day weekend!!!
Hope you Dads get to find something fun to do.
After being gone since January I got all the work done I was assigned and them been helping others. I will get to head home this week maybe I can work on the Monte when I get there. Got a new grand daughter to see, plus the rest of the grand kids too.

 

WHEWWWWW Just came in from putting a new fuel pump on the race car...seems to run smoother. we will see. Now I need to eat and shower and get ready for the track.

honey I'm home! Lol

I recently went thru what seemed to be a never ending nightmare...

As you may or may not know..
My harley has efi...
Relating everything I learned here...
I had starting issues with it after a simple battery change.
6 1/2 weeks later I finally figured out what was wrong with it..without figuring out the cause..
It was brain dead
$685.00 dollars later..I purchased a new one..and wouldn't you know it...it fired right up.

Unfortunately,
I couldn't get it to respond to any type of scanner.
It also gave me manual dtc codes that showed there was nothing wrong..

Naturally you can see my delema...
Yesterday was the real test...
Rode 95 miles on it with the mrs in tow..
It performed flawlessly!!!!

Hope ev1 has a Great Father's day tomorrow
For all you dads...as well as all the single mom's out there...Yes ... single mom's have to be both mom and dad.
So my hats off to you as well..

I hope the fuel pump, new filter and cleaned out carb does the trick!!! I wish you could be here to watch too. It's more fun when you know someone is there to watch you. My daughter doesn't come out anymore because she is afraid I am going to die. If it was up to her, I would have a bubble wrap and Kevlar racing suit!!! LOL

 

Morning all just got back from mowing at the church. Its raining now and it looks like its going to rain all weekend so happy Fathers day all you guys. I will be under the Monte cleaning for the Nationals and getting packed for the Nationals.
