Afternoon all, need to do some cleaning on the buick. Running back and forth to work gets it quite dirty.

I'm working on cleaning up my other car for the Carlilse show next Saturday. If my bad knees allow me to I want to visit the Monte cars on display. If anyone wanders over to the Fiero show area look for my super white (even the wheels) Fiero in the Daily Drive class. It has over 233,000 miles on it. Here's a picture.

Nice Fiero.

Hello MCF!

I mowed all the grass at the farm. Back home now. Going to put a new trailer wire hookup on my old truck, then going to the rodeo!

Today started out so good....

Gave the SS one more wipe down before driving it down to its first show. Only antiques were eligible for awards, so it wasn't in contention for anything. Got numerous compliments on the car. Even met another Monte driver as a guy drove in with an '02 Intimidator edition, just to show it like I was doing. It was his first time showing his car as well. Had a good time, met a few folks, then took the wife out for a nice ribeye dinner at our favorite restaurant. Went to look at a few cars (my 85 year old mother wants to buy her first Cadillac...) and then headed home. Got on the gas hard one time to pull out on the highway and the transmission slipped. Then it did it again. Then again after stopping at a traffic light. Then it started whining. Backed it in the driveway and checked the dipstick. Bone f'n dry.......... Haven't been able to get underneath it yet, but my guess would be that one of the freshly replaced trans cooling lines or fittings has failed. It will sit where it is until it's towed back to the dealership Monday....

Today started out so good....(sigh)
