Hi Bob,
I'm a crane operator...loading & unloading boats/ships.
Pay & Bennie's are great, but I help others to get the job done on the projection completion date. I really don't do that much construction except help getting the supplies to the workers that build. I've been doing it for about 7 years. I like it because it's outdoors & by the water. + there's job opportunities around the World.

*****Thanks Mod Barbara for your link...Some great races.
I'm multi tasking & listening and watching when they line up.
It's a great live stream 4-Sure...Good run drags 4-Real..

Sounds like a real dream job for sure Mike. Almost like a paid vacation in paradise, but I don't care much for heights. I would be OK once I'm up there in the operator seat, but would be shaking all the way up and down the ladder.

Default It's sure not like the post cards (LOL)

Thanks `Bob,
I wouldn't call it a dream job, but it does permit me to meet all kinds of people from around the world. Major Port Duty is a lot better then some ports and no ports to build. Living conditions are BAD and it's like camping out all the time.

Clean water is GOLD on new uninhabited islands and the conditions can be like a jungle.

Good afternoon all - starting to slowly mod the Clubman with appearance stuff. I bought checked flag mirror covers that I still need to install. I just ordered a checkered flag sunroof graphic and will get that installed soon. Last is some bonnet stripes.

How interesting, and thanks for sharing the pictures Mike. I do know what it's like to live and work in uninhabited areas. During the summers of my college years I worked for the US Forest Service maintaining wilderness trails. A woman and I hiked with a pack string of horses and mules into the Alpine Lakes Wilderness Area here in Washington State. We would cover 40 to 60 miles of trail, using cross-cut hand saws to clear fallen trees up to 4 feet in diameter since motorized equipment is not allowed. We slept in tents for 2-3 weeks at a time. We filtered drinking water from creeks and lakes. We used the pack string to carry our beer, steaks and watermelon. lol. This was the true meaning of "Tranquility", but unfortunately tranquility usually doesn't pay well so I've lived in the suburbs of Seattle and worked as a commercial plumber since 1985.
Please send more pics!
How large are the ships you work from?

Hi Bob, thanks for your post & sharing your past experience. I think I would like doing that. The ships are all shapes and sizes. The freighter ships from foreign lands are large, but the island boats are tub boat size. It's good that you can relate to living off the land, and yes you really appreciate civilization when you return home 4-Really-Sure...

Hi `Amy, it's great to see you online, I think I've read most of your post & it's difficult to keep up with all your super rides. Space always said you had super taste in rides. Please post/share some pic's of your Clubman `OK...Wish you a super weekend >EnJoy<

Amy
Do you have vector artwork for the new Monte Crest that you would be willing to share with me? Trying to work on a personal project.
