Mornin guys. Came in to work with first shift to get some OT. OT is hard to come by right now, so I'll take it when I can get it, even if it means little or no sleep. Monster and coffee will get me through the day though. Hope y'all have a good one!

Good morning MCF!! :
Thanks for starting today's blog SupplySgt!!
Off to the track soon to keep trying to move up in points to race in Indy in September. Tied for 8th right now and need to get to 5th to go as a racer (going anyway as a spectator but would rather race). This is where one of my favorite sayings comes into play "Luck is when skill and opportunity come together."
Hope everyone has a great day!!

One time my son and I went to Topeka, KS to the Drag race, John was there he and Ron Capps and 2 other drivers had put together a T-shirt for a Motorcycle racer who had been killed on the street. So my son wanted one of them, we had brought a bunch of stuff for him to sign.
He went up with the money and an Action Figure of John in the Package.
So the other drivers were giving John a bunch of crap about it. John said where did you get that he said this kid with the Red hair. So he told my son I will sign your stuff if you help me hand out these T-shirts. He was tickled and John had fun and he signed all the stuff.
God Bless John Force!!

Another reminder that I'm not 18 anymore LOL. At this point I'll be happy if I can stay awake through the Xfinity race today. I'm starting to doubt that it will happen that way though. Apparently I can't do the less than 3 hours of sleep in 48 hours like I used to.

Oh I would love 300 MPH...speed and power do not worry me at all...rapid deceleration..yeah, that worries me!!! LOL If John said "Here, race my car" I'd be strapped in that rocket in no time...LOL It would take me longer to figure out all the buttons and switches!!!
I met John Force a few years ago at the Nationals and he IS a nice guy!!

LOL I hear ya there!! I am reminded every Sunday morning after a full day of racing on Saturday that I am certainly NOT 18 anymore!!! It takes awhile to get moving without every muscle in my body aching.
