Default Runaway Kia

First off, i give this women credit for not crashing on some of these maneuvers, she clearly has some driving skill. But what baffles me is, just throw the friggin thing in neutral and be done with the whole problem before it even begins And the reporters claim she was powerless to stop it, right...

Stomp on the brakes
Shift into any lower gear or neutral
Turn the car off
Seriously..... thats not what i call fancy driving i call that being an idiot for not knowing whats the next step when that happens especially on a wide open road like she was on! Idiots...

Sadly people have died because they don't know or think to just put in neutral
I'd rather blow the engine than wreck an kill some one.

Neutral and brake should have been common sense ... Ive seen many police chase videos where they drove on the shoulder and flipped over, she was indeed lucky.

Shifting to neutral, applying the brakes and coasting to the side of the road would have resolved the issue in short order. But then you wouldn't have had the drama and potential for a law suit againt KIA. In today's sue-happy society I wouldn't be surprised if a law suit emerges from this claiming endangerment and emotional distress. Maybe the woman doesn't like here new vehicle and staged the whole thing to set the stage for such actions. I'd be interested in knowing what the onboard computers have to say about the incident.
