Funny pics. Thanks for sharing the Christmas Spirit!!

As for the roof rails, I know 03JGMonte just recently screwed his in place. I can't help but have some reservations about this.... I am concerned about adding a new possible spot for water leaks (even though the sealer should prevent that, still, can't help but be concerned).

You will need to put silicone in the screw holes thats for sure & over the screw ive got no leaks in mine after doin that

lol yea the sealant should prevent any leaks thats for sure.

i'll be adding rubber washers to the screws as well

Aww such a cute Monte lol, too bad about the roof rails but like others said at least they weren't stolen.

Your Monte looks very festive. Thanks for sharing the pic.

As far as your roof rails are concerned you could use the expandable nuts that they use on station wagon roof racks from the factory.

Those are pretty neat but the ones ive seen wont work for the rails sence you screw into the rails & not the roof
