Ronda having neck surgery
I consider you all family so just letting you all know,
Ronda has been plagued with neck and arm pain for some time now. She has tried doctor's suggested methods of a less intrusive relief (physical therapy)
She will be admitted to Sparrow hospital in Lansing Monday morning (pending insurance approval in time). They want to operate on her C5 vertebrae to relive a pinched nerve. They have to open up the vertebrae clean out a spur and clean out the nerve tunnel's that lead out from that vertebrae. Doctor assures me that there is only a 1% risk. (still scary)
They approach the vertebrae from the front of the neck (as that is where the spur resides front of the vertebrae) moving aside the Croatia artery, windpipe and vocal cords. Pretty scary (at least for me)
Risks are permanent paralysis, nicking the Croatia artery, list goes on
I am a tad concerned, but know she needs this for relief.
Having faith that this all goes down well

Wishing Rhonda the best Tad. Going under the knife for anyone can be a scary thing. The IMPORTANT thing is, make sure you trust the person doing the surgery. If so, then that helps keep everyone calm and in good spirits.
