Hey Space and everyone!

I'm not "missing" so to speak, I've just been trying to straighten out some personal things, and keep the budget in the "black". Plus, the computer repair business I'm running seems to take every night now that I don't get off the "day job" until 7 PM. I've got a big job I'm working on right now, and I've racked up over 10 hours a week the last 3 weeks just on this one job.I'm glad they're not breathing down my neck to get it done, a guy needs a night "off" every once in awhile!!!

I've arranged some stuff, so I should have some money to start spendin on the car finally. First things first, stainless tips (no more 8$ auto-store cheapos). Got em, gonna mirror-polish them. They weren't near shiny enough :-D I'll try and get some before/after pics... you won't believe the difference!


Please don't be offended by my absence... if there were more hours in the day I'd be here every night! But working near 50 hours a week at the cycle shop and doing the computer thing... I'm lucky to find time to eat!

As soon as this one job is done I should find some time on the weekends to really catch up with everyone.

Well guys n galls I'm back to take up unwanted space on MCFs.

Got back from MI about 6:50pm sunday evening. All we did was run the entire weekend. So the new Monte got an extra 450 miles tacked on it. Other then it raining and getting the car dirty as h--l, I did have an issue with the tire monitor system. Onstar did a check and said to get the car in to the dealer as soon as possible to get this resolved.

My g/f Deb's mom is still in the hospital. They first thought she had a stroke? But after a few tests they now suspect she may have bone marrow cancer? Additional tests are being done today I guess to get a better idea. So if you would please keep her in your thoughts & Prayers.

 

 

Definitely, RJ...I've been there before with my grandmother. Her breast cancer tunred into bone cancer which turned into blood cancer. It wasn't a fun thing to watch her go through.

Hey RJ, you know I had mine in the dealer several times over that. They've changed the computerunit, re-programmed it (new key fobs), and then updated the programming ( real quick computer thing).... ended up thet just replaced the damned right rear sensor and everything's peachy now. If your car is saying service tire monitor system or whatever go through and find out which one is not reporting. If they haven't already, chances are replacing the unit (of the tire that's not reporting pressure when the alarm goes off), then reprogramming all 4 positions will fix it.

It's funny though, you think they would have replaced the control unit last... not first... lol
