Like 30 years ago, my mom and dad went out one friday night. They came home with a napkin with my name on it and autographed by Dr. Creep. They said they were at a restaurant waiting on a table and Dr. Creep was setting at the bar.

So now............ 2011 stinks.

I have to admit I never heard of him until now. But it seems like at that time, many areas of the country had their own local person like Dr. Creep. Some better than others. Dr. Creep sure looks like he played the part very well. With some Ozzy influences in his costume design. If I was watching his show as a kid, I'd be scared. Dr. Creep is part of a genre you don't see anymore. I'm sure he'll be missed by many, and my condolences to all his fans.

I think he was a regional tv star. Hugely popular in the Ohio area.

Dr. Creep was local. But many knew of him and his antics. He was kind of like Benny Hill with a Halloween mask.

His personal vehicle was a black hearse. I recall once they had him come to a local car show. This was like 1986?

I know they have the time line wrong as well. Or maybe they didn't count the years he was channel 16, PBS? He started out there and moved to channel 22. I know for a fact he was on when I was in 5th grade. We had an inpromtu class in english one day. We were to talk about something that affected our lives. I spoke of a movie Dr. Creep showed called: Mr. Sardonicus. (sp)

I know I slept with the light on for 3 weeks after I wanted this movie.
