regalsville '09 fall roll out PICS!
hey guys & gals, sorry it took so long for me to post these, i know i said i would last sunday me & the family attended the "fall roll out" car show in regalsville, pa, just south of easton. unfortinitly, there were fewer cars this year than what usually attend, only about 1/3 of the showfeild was filled due to the threat of rain ( and probibly a few post- haloween hangovers ) however, the smaller size allowed me to get pics of many of the cars in attendence, and i figure i should share enjoy!
the '79 elky pictured below had a factory 350 and just 6,200 original miles, with everything original including the paint & interior. it was a true bargin at $3500 OBO!
my perosnal favorite, pictured below- a 66 (?) rambeler 2 door hardtop, factory 290 v8 with a 4 speed stick and a black bench seat interior. it was VERY cool
my other favorite car was this red & white corvair, which had a 350 TPI mounted where the rear seat once was, effectivly turning it into a mid-engine car. it was also running a 5 speed stick with a hydrolic clutch & disc brakes, as well as swivel bucket seats like those in a 2nd gen monte
of course a '65 buick for me
my dad is absolutly in love with this ratty '54 chevy
what show would be compleate without a 1st gen monte ? this one was triple brown, with a 350 & an auto on the colum, bench seat. all original, it was a nice driver, but could use a new top & a respray, and a new seat cover. but it WAS solid!
a couple more, dang 20 image limit

chris, thats probibly caus novas are awsome, lol. the body shop we pass going to tech every day has an orange '74 that looks like it was built in the late 80's & parked sitting there... they also have a few 4th gen montes, a few '70 ish oldsmobiles, a '70 chevelle, and a 66 lincon convertable. then the gulf across the street has a pair of '70 nova's and a bunch of rat rods... JJ knows the shops i mean
and jj, i somehow knew you would like the rambeler, lol
