Rare Camaro Intimidator
I'll admit, I'm not into NASCAR at all - but is the thought that this will go for big money?
From an uneducated perspective, it feels like the original build of this car was just a money grab from the dealer trying to cash in on the name. It looks to have started life as a regular Camaro, it doesn't have any significance to DE (besides coming from the dealer + having family signatures), and the year isn't anything special related to an anniversary or anything. It seems like they slapped on some standard aftermarket upgrade parts - did a FEW custom aesthetic touches, and probably marked it up an enormous amount.
I get I'm not the target market, but if I wanted a complete modified Camaro, I'd rather have one built by one of the major LS shops in the country (or even a ZL1). I just wonder if people buy these hoping this will be the next Yenko Camaro 40-50 years down the road? Given the way tech is going, I think that could be a risky gamble to take.
On a side note - does anyone know what those struts / linkages on the front splitter actually hook to on the bumper side? If I remember correctly, theres no structure that far forward on the bumper support, so unless they built a custom frame underneath, the top side is just bolted to plastic. I guess the intent is aesthetic to try to tie to a race car, I'd just think it would be hilarious if it was really just for show and the top was actually just screwed into the plastic bumper.

Here's a shot with my front bumper off when I was putting on my heritage grille.
