Default Quickjack anyone?

Curious if anyone here owns one / know someone who does + what their thoughts are?

They're running a sale until the end of the month thats equivalent to the black Friday sales last year and is for their new model (higher lift). Ive been looking at these for awhile now, and even their sale price is $300 over where they used to be when I first started considering them so I'm tempted to give it a go before they climb too much further.

I don't mind jack / jack stands on the monte as the front is easy to lift with the huge cradle. But its getting frustrating on my gto and c6 as both of them require additional jacking before I can get the main jack under, even driving up on 2x10s / using an ultra low profile jack.

I'd been holding off in the hopes of getting a real lift with the new garage, but now that those plans are pretty much locked in, I'm not going to have aa much headroom as Id hoped (and not enough for a standard full blown lift). The local building height limits and roof style limit me to a fairly conventional ceiling height. I also like the idea of being able to use these in any bay (or even outside) vs being locked into one "lift bay".

On the fence about pulling the trigger, but not sure what to do. Reviews online are very mixed. Some seem to love them, some seem to hate them / not feel its worth the $ over jack stands.

I considered getting a quickjack system but ended up with a couple pneumatic bottle jacks. Quickjack will go 24 inches, most bottles go 20, so I just linked them together. A lot cheaper and sometimes you got to put them in weird places to get the vehicle up. Still, I wouldn't mind having a quickjack for my old truck.

Just curious, what height are your bottle jacks fully deflated? My biggest issue is starting clearance. The c6 is about 3 1/4 in front and 3 1/2 in back. The Monte and GTO are a little more, maybe 4-4.5" (depending how low I've got my coilovers set). It seems like I'd have to drive the car up on one, maybe two 2x ramps to get it high enough to get a bottle jack underneath.

I like that the quickjack can go down to 3", which would hopefully alleviate having to do any prep work at all besides setting the jack up.

I guess I'm just struggling with it being worth the money only as a time saver. I can replicate the height fairly closely with my jack / stands, but it just takes time to get the car set up like that. I'm kinda tempted to just wait and see if I can squeeze one of the mid rise lifts in once the garage is done. At least that would give me a completely new capability on top of convenience (and maybe even easier use with swing in arms). I see theyve got a sister company with max jack thats a portable 2 post. Still needs anchored, but the posts are on wheels so I could potentially set up anchors in several locations.

I've seen them advertised, don't know anyone who actually has them. If you get them I'm interested in your review's.

Tomorrow is the end of this sale (although I'm sure it'll come back for Black Friday as always), and I think I've talked myself out of it.

As I'm in process on building a bigger garage, I'm thinking buying this would be short sighted at this point. I keep thinking about space constraints of my current / tight 2 car garage (and my previous garages) where something like this is the only option possible. Given a year or so, hopefully I'll have much more space available and could consider going one step bigger - like its sister company max jack / portable mid rise. Although more expensive, it would give me added functionality beyond what I can get with my jacks + jack stands.
