Hi `Sean, you got 3 out of four You know your Chevy Monte's....I only know because I've been researching 1st gen Monte Carlo's....I was surprised they had 4 V8 choices...(No V6)

OK, who can post the 4th Engine option in a 1970 Monte Carlo ? (Without searching/cheat'in) ? lol

Is it a 396, think that's a Chevy engine. Think I remember my friend had one in his 69 Chevelle.

Hi `Zippy >`Greg, Sorry close, but no cigar or(Sam Adams, this time)>
Thanks 4 playing
* Hint: It's larger then the 400 c.i. engine & smaller then the "454" c.i. Engine. Good Luck

The only Stock one, option that is left would be the 427 ci. I have never seen one in a 70 Monte, I owned a 70 Monte for a short time, thought it would help with Picking up Chics and they wouldn't have to sit on the console.
But they preferred that it seems, so then I got a Camaro Z/28. Back on the Console again.
They loved that.
Difficult to Shift when she was sitting on the console, most all wore the infamous Mini Skirt, and you needed to shift, but she didn't care her (Tach) was well over 7Grand.
Fun stuff. Love it when I can remember those fun times.

I cheated, had to use my Lifeline phone call. My friend who is into Fords, but a previous GM guy but lives and breathes cars. He says the 348 & 429 are a small block W series engine. So no to those, his answer to me is it's probably a 402...
