Thank u for making my eyes and head hurt ! Before trading in my Suburban for the Monte I was thinking about doing a Craiglist ad geared towards the young knuckle head crowd ! :p

 

It's kind of like doing Sudoku you're so close to getting it, it's makes your head hurt... but you eventually get it

 

I think this gentleman is probably a well educated man with a good job. Probably a teacher or maybe a writer.

 

Sadly, I understand the whole thing lol.

Edit: Just saw the original thread and saw pics of the car. I think that if you have to cut fenderwells in order for rims to fit then they should not be used! He mentions that the 24s are HEAVY so no telling how much stress those rims have put on the tranny! The intake he talks about is open to the engine bay drawing in heat... The interior does look to be in good shape.

 

Not hard to understand what he's trying to say but definately beating around the bush . I don't usually consider buying stuff from people who post that way. talking that ways one thing, posting though....

 

I have to agree with who ever mentioned about the ad being targetted toward a certain buyer.

When the ad is worded like that, and one of the first things he mentions is the fact he put 24's because 22's were too small. You already have a good idea of what this thing is going to be like.

The same way if someone posted an ad for a Dale Earnhardt tribute Impala. You already have a good idea of what it'll look like. Black with 3's inside and out. It's a target audience.
