So as a stated in a thread awhile back I had some offers on trades, the guy with the ram 2500 with the v10 was nice but had a crease in the box and he wanted a grand on top of mine so I told him to let me think about it. The dakota was sold, and the durango I have not looked at yet. Here is the 1998 Chevy z71 ext cab. with 168k, looks very nice and sounds nice I emailed him asking about a trade. If that goes well what do you think I should do, I mean if I look at it and its in good shape and runs well etc etc, should I ask for cash on top of my car due to miles and age difference or??? heres a few pics.

I don't know. Maybe it's just me. He wants your 05 right? Somehow, him wanting to trade your Monte for a soon to be 14 year old Chevy truck with 168,000 miles, and is hard on gas, plus extra money from you, seems to be kind of insulting. But maybe I'm wrong.

I'd rather have the Monte.

 

no my o4 ls i wuldnt trade my 05 lol, Ive been looking for a truck and its hard to find an ok one I've seen worse miles and its not a sure thing just preliminary

 

If u want a truck id wait, theres a ton out there and some with liw miles id just keep looking
