They had to save Buick for the retiree market. lol.
Pontiac had some great cars over the years. But in the last couple years just went into the crapper. The G8 was the only Pontiac that was worth saving. And I think GM made a mistake dis-continuing that model with the demise of the Pontiac name plate.
Now that I think about it, GM should have saved the G8 and the Solstice/Sky.
But other pontiacs like the G5, G6 and so on won't be missed much.
But that's just my humble opinion.

Those G8's are GORGEOUS!
I think the G6's were good compared to the car they replaced. The Grand Am. But weren't spectacular. Would've been a great car if it would've been given the opportunity to be re-designed with some improvements.
The back end of the G6 from the rear window back just looked awkward. The deck lid needed a re-design.

I know someone spent a lot of time photoshopping that concept car. But I don't like it. Looks like a mish-mash of parts from other cars. Started with a 2010 Camaro, doors look like the mustang, and the rear window from a Corvette.
Minor point... I'm tired of every Firebird concept being a Smokey & The Bandit edition. I know it's the most famous firebird, but try to come up with something different.
Kinda like how every Dodge Charger concept was a General Lee. (before the new charger came out)
