It was presented by Jim Press, who even made a Prius joke before launching into a passionate pitch for the orange-and-black-striped car. And even though you're drowning in info on a car you still can't buy, there were some specifics added: 0-60 in 4.9 seconds and a 170-MPH top speed; the quarter mile goes by in 13.9 seconds; 4-pot Brembo brakes go on 14.2-inch rotors up front and 13.8-inch rotors in back, and will stop you from 60 in 110 feet; performance and braking together adds up to 0-100-0 in 16.5 seconds; and the skidpad number: 0.9 g's.

So how's it really look? Just as good as in the photos. Better even. The lines are so simple that you realize you haven't missed anything when you get up next to it. I really do like the look of the Challenger, just too many quality issues with a Dodge for my taste. The are nice and tight with no major issues until they get to be about 5 or 6 years old, then the problems start.

WTF is the deal with that Rustang? Talk about FUGLY. If they want to lose sales, that's a good way to start.

The Challenger is too kewl.

I'm just getting sooooo tired of waiting.

The modern information era has more than ruined the wait.

Anticipation is all but dead.

 

I think the wait for both the Camaro and the Challenger is ridiculous. Seemsto me in the past, an automaker didn't unveil a new model until it was ready to go into production. This way the competition didn't have time to beat them to the punch. The Camaro and the Challenger have been unveiled for a couple years now. Get them on the lots already. Before people start to get tired of the design before the first car hits the dealership lot.

I like the Challenger, inside and out. But Chrysler has traditionally had a lot of problems with quality like mad717 said. I'm sticking with my choice of the Camaro. I think a great option would be the Displacement on Demand. Instead of it being mandatory, make it an option that I can opt out of without my having to go and re-program the freakin thing myself, and voiding my warranty. [:@]

i will say though.. the CHALLENGER is one hot number. sat in that bad boy, too.

but camaro...........
