Could also look at a third gen Camaro or Firebird. They look good with T-Tops. The mid 70's to mid 80's Vettes also have T-Tops and are not badly priced.

 

The only 3rd gens Camaros i'd get are the TPI ones, preferably with the manual (which didn't come out till 87. The computer controlled carbs are a complete PITA to deal with. That's also why any 4th gen Monte or Grand Prix I get will be seeing a motor swap, most likely to a modern EFI motor.

 

^^ those carb's actually arn't too bad to "fix", when i had my '84 oldsmobile all i did was replace the distributor with an older HEI unit from a '77 ish olds, and a non-electronic quadrajet. plugged all the vacume lines and the thing ran great. 305/350 would be even easyier to fix scince those engines are everywhere in non-electronic form.
