Default Anyone Planning to..........

I was wondering if anyone was planning on using the custom molded mud flaps bought from Chevy on their Monte?

I know mud flaps don't exactly denote a power or racing image like most want their Montes to project. But using mud flaps do keep a lot of junk off the sides of the car.

Is anyone considering using them?

I'm waiting to see, if and how many other new Monte I see the flaps on. So far I haven't seen any with mud flaps on.

I'm still seriously considering it on my 04 but haven't spent any time looking into them. Too much time looking into turbo upgrades. :P

I have seen a couple 2000 and up Montes with mud flaps on them. Not too bad if you ask me.

Now to decide if I want the molded kind Chevy dealers sell or just a flat style you can get at say Auto Zone or Advanced? My $0.02 I think the Chevy molded mud flaps will look better on the car but $60 for four mud flaps is kind of pricey.

Thanks for the replies.

I am planning on getting some mud flaps for my 03. I found a site the other day http://www.gmpartsdirect.com/results...umber=12497403 the site has some different logos and what not on them along with a variety of widths. And the seem to be relatively cheap too, about $28 for a full set. I hope to get them in a few weeks when I go home for break, so ill be sure to post some pics of them to get some feedback.

I have a 2007 SS on order and want to put flaps at least on the front. Most of the SS models have the ground effects package, which means the flap would need a different profile than the LS or LT models.

I have an 04 SS with the lower ground effects (never did put flaps on it though) but not sure if the 07 models have the same contours on the lower mouldings. If anyone out there has already checked their dealer please reply. Remember, I think there will be 2 different flaps, don't assume one set fits all.
