That happens to be a factory color scheme. In the High Sport appearence package.

 

I too was unaware of this type rear spoiler. I thought the one that most of
us have with the 6th gen's are the "NASCAR Inspired" spoiler....

I still like the blue pinstriping.........

 

Yep - I almost had to resort to that color combo when I ordered my 03. I couldn't get Superior blue and Silver or Competition yellow and Silver and didn't want black sooo I went with Victory red and Sliver.

 

I would have loved to be able to order a new Monte between 2002 - 2007.

I think the berry color with silver ground affects is one of the prettiest combinations Chevy offered.

But I'll settle for Superior Blue with Silver.

I really like that color combo too! There is one similar at local carmax that my b/f and I have been looking at for months, 2004 SS super with 33k miles on it, but they want $15k for it. Out of the range of what he is willing to spend or I'm sure we'd have another one parked in the drive

I like the graphics on the side and the distinction that PC Edition carries.
There are just not any for sale in this area of the country. I seen a yellow one
that was around the Houston area but I couldn't get down there
So I settled on what I have and I haven't been disappointed.
Hang on to yours as long as you can. They are Beautiful cars !

 

Yeah my g/f Deb wanted a yellow SS Monte more then anything.

The dealer who located my '06 LTZ had a yellow '03 SS setting on the lot. And they wanted $13,999.00 for the car with 60,xxx miles on the clock. They would NOT budge on the price even when I called and asked them to price match the Pace car. They wanted to know who had the Pace car, so I told them. I first thought they may try going to Greenville, OH and grabbing the Pace car up then sticking it out on their lot at a higher price? It sure crossed my mind. But I wanted to prove to them I could get a comparable car for less money then the one they were trying to sell. All I can say is they could have had another sale if they weren't so greedy. Their choice.

I do feel like thanking them though. Cause if they would have budged on the yellow SS it would be setting in the garage and not the Pace car.
