I tied to quickly photoshop a yellow 2002 Pace Car edition Monte white. Didn't turn out. Too hard to tell the silver from the white. I didn't even save it. My attempt looked like crap.
I'm remembering the times I've seen white cars with silver gound effects or silver decals.
I remember the silver sections getting "lost" in the white paint depending on the lighting. Especially on a sunny day.
Is there a more contrasting color that you like? I know the flag decals are also available in black on the net. Not sure if you want to go with that or not. Too typical maybe? It would give you more of a real checker flag look.
What if you were able to find the flag decals in blue? Personally, I think a white Monte with blue ground effects and flag decals would look good. And would definitely be different than any I've seen.

photoshop........
I'm late on this one. I have photoshop elements 6. Give me a day or two and I
can try to come up with something ? Actually a Grey met. wouldn't be bad
or the silver trimmed in either blue or red.
I'll give it a shot. But please someone else ? See what you can come up with also ?
Richard.

Here are my REALLY quick attempts at blue. given some time could do better but maybe this is enough to get the idea.
i tried to tint the ground effects too, but by the time you add transparency so that it looks real and not just a painted blob it keeps turning out too gray.
