Several of my former classmates are serving in the Middle East, and I am thankful for their service. I don't understand the war, but I would go, if my country requested. I don't take our freedom 4-granted, but I'm happy to be free to pursue my dreams and enjoy the many benefits of being an American. This post is not a political post, just a reminder to pray or hope for a safe return of our troops.

Peace + Middle East = OXYMORON



I fear we will never see peace in the Middle East unless we plan to make a parking lot out of the entire region. Fighting has persisted as far back as human records go and will continue well past the time you and I leave this place..

Mr Montejass, are you sure you haven't been talking with my Grandpa ? You posted his exact thoughts and feelings. Thanks for your post. I'll still keep hoping & praying for World Peace. Maybe if everyone on Earth would just `Smoke a Peace-Pipe with some Wacky, they could mellow out the World & live in peace.

well first off, i agree with there never being peace there.
second of all I know first hand how it is to be there and it SUX! but at least we are making a diffrence there. belive it or not it is being done.

hope all of your frends are good and safe when they come home.

saying thanks is somthign alot of folks dont relise they can do. it means alot commign from the heart to hear someone say thank you.
WE volonteered to be there in the place to protect our freedoms and it is nice when someone sees this and says somethign about it.

but over and above that i hope all of the guys/gals there now and in the future and the past can live a normal life after wards.
it is not being there that hurts as much as what you have to live with when you leave that gets alot of them.

4th of July will never be the same for some of us agian.
