Well looky there...that 'slip up' is causing all kinds of interest in the "SS Performance" on the forum...and probably elsewhere as well...just what a good marketing campaign should. 
With the history the Monte Carlo has in NASCAR it would only make sense that a 2 door model should be named that, but I guess we won't know for sure until an offical announcement is made. The thought of a new RWD V8 Monte does get my attention.

First ... that list noted the year 2014. If that is the street version of the rumored new 2013 NASCAR entry, then they are either a year off, or NASCAR is going to change THEIR rules yet AGAIN.
Second ... if that is the street version of the rumored new 2013 NASCAR entry, it canNOT be named Impala, Monte Carlo, or any other old, already used nameplate, because per Ch#$r%*et's OWN PRESS RELEASE, it will be a NEW nameplate to the lineup.... Unless Ch#$r%*et is lying again....
