Old Cars

RE: Old Cars
My first car (1969) was a 64 Impala SS, as well - light blue, blue interior, 327, auto, AM/FM, power windows. This car had a rare white vinyl top that sure looked like it came from the factory, but I suppose it could have been an add-on.
My last car before the Monte was a 2006 VW Beetle TDI, with every option except automatic. It was a good car with some very cool features, but I got sick of shifting (bad left knee). Also, it seemed that every New Beetle I saw on the road was driven by a girl, and I took a lot of crap from the boys..."hey, how come you don't have a flower in the bud vase?". [:@]With the kind of driving I do, I was averaging 43 mpg. In retrospect, if I had spent the extra bucks for a loaded Jetta TDI with an automatic, I'd undoubtedly still be driving it. Oh well...wouldn't be nearly as fun as the SS.

RE: Old Cars
My first car was a 1985 Cavalier hatchback. I got pics, but none are on the computer, and my scanner isn't working right now.
My last car before the Monte was a 99 Grand Am GT. Pic attached below.

RE: Old Cars
I wouldn't mine owning a ford focus because of the mpg but i just wouldn't look right considering that I am 6'5" and I play a lot of basketball at many events and for my school. I just wouldnt look right getting out of something like that. And Taz that am Gt, I almost owned one of those instead of the Monte Carlo I own now.

RE: Old Cars
My very first car was a 1965 VW Bettle that the floorboards rusted out of, and I paid $50 for it and sold a year later for $50. The guy that bought turned it into One Beautiful Show Car - Electric Felt the outside purplish-red, added horns on the front and a devils tail on the back, chrome wheels, it was sharp
