I've always been more or less Chevy/Pontiac guy. I was going through a local Chevy dealer lot about 3 years ago in my 2000 T/A ws6. We saw this yellow Mustang staring us down and thought man, that looks nice. It was an 05 but a 6cyl. I cloned it out abit and put BOSS stripes on it, but still couldnt stomach the fact that it was a 6cyl. My WIFE loved it and didn't let on as such till I sold it. Otherwise I would have let her have it. I put the chin spoiler on it and the side window louvers. Heres a pic.

I think a lot of the girl car thing blew up with the 4 cylinder and V6 Mustangs and Camaros, even though I've known a lot of women who drove GT's and Z/28's. At any rate, its hard for me to even think of the current 300 horsepower V6 Mustang as a "woman's" car. 300 horsepower!!!

I never liked Ford until I had my 93 F150. It had 170k on it and never ever left me stranded. Since then I began liking Fords. Right now, if someone handed me a check for 40K I would drive right to the Ford dealership and buy myself a '11 GT 6 speed with no hesitation. I think the new Mustang is a better car than the new camaro. If GM would make a camaro like the 98-2002, light and fast, I would buy one instead, but you cant deny that a 3400lb mustang with 412hp is bad ***. Plus the interiors are alot nicer than the camaros.

Lou you are right about the first mustang being called a secretary's car. Other then that I have never heard that mustangs were chick cars. I always got smart a$$ comments from mustang owners when driving my firebirds, they were asking me where my mullet was. lol

I mostly want a couple Mustangs so i can mod them lol they seem like they would be a bunch of fun to mod! Same thing with the Neon SRT4 or VW Golf GTI. I do want an older Fastback though someday to show & all. I've heard from a lot of people around here that they think Mustang's are girlie cars...idk I think it's all about how you mod it & who the person is who owns it
