Default New Toy For The "Man Cave"

My old Simplicity zero turn pretty much gave up the ghost. It runs, but that's about it. I've used it HARD since we move here 1 1/2 yrs ago. So I was in the market for a heavy duty zero turn, and ready to sign papers on a Kubota diesel, but LadyT says "why you buying that when all you can do is MOW with it! You need a tractor with a mower AND a loader!" So after some problem solving we purchased a new John Deere 1026R with a 60D auto connect deck and H120 quick attach 53" loader. 0% for 60 months. It doesn't mow as quick as a zero turn, but I couldn't have pulled out the fence posts we did last Sunday with a zero turn.

And that's Duke in the pic above. He just got shaved for the 1st time. He's now a 9 yr old 95 pound puppy!

Very nice, I love it when my wife make a suggestion that is was better then I was gonna get. I could do a ton of stuff with that. My yard is too small to cut with it but I could use it to level it and do some landscaping.

Well, we have 7 acres, and I've been mowing about half, and the perimeter of all of it for walks with the dogs (3). And this was only a few thousand more than the mower I was looking at, and it'll do WAY more, just not mow as fast as a nice zero turn.
