Cool the new toy!

well i havnt been on here all that much this week because i was quite sick and also working more then i have been. so that consumed most of my time but today... today was a different day. i bought a 2002 harley sportster its pretty customized and it has just over 7000 miles on it. so i dont have to spend alot of $$ on mods that i can think of.. . i bought it from my brother who never really rode it. and he bought a 05 street glide so he and his wife could ride more comfortably.. anyways i cleaned her up today and me, my brother, and my father went for a ride. it was the most fun i had in a while. i have never driven a motorcycle.. i have been on the back quite a bit but thats no comparison. so it was a little shaky at first but i got the hang of it towerds the end. anyways with out further delay.. here is a quick picture i snapped before we went off. . unfortuently i do owe a some money on it so monte upgrades will be at a low but this will save me on gas quite a bit.

edit the towel is just to keep the seat cool cause it is really hot today in florida.

Looks great! Have fun but be careful...a lot of people on the road are oblivious to bikes.

THanks everyone! Its wonderful to be on 2 wheels. But it was kinda weird to drive the Monte after I rode it. I was being very cautious. And most people seemed to keep their distance. But there are alot of stupid people out there

Very nice bike, can totally relate to your "shakey bit" since i just purchased an '08 Harley Davidson Nightster 1200 in august and hadn't ridden anything in over 5yrs. and those last rides were on a 250 four-stroke dirt bike lol, anyway ride safe and enjoy

Thanks guys. 04intimitadorssjmm. Nice bike man. I love the nightsters I would have gotten one of those if this opertunity didn't pop up. I rode dirt bikes ages ago it was so long ago it was an automatic(had a shifter but no clutch.) so I had a few stall outs lol
