Default The new Furd Focus

So I saw a link today about a new Furd Focus that's coming out... took one glance and said HEY LOOK! A red Mazda 3.

That's just disappointing, although I was never a fan of the focus to begin with. My roommate drives one, miserable little thing, with no room in the backseat to even sit comfortably (and I'm not that tall of a guy either)

You're right it does look like a Mazda, lol.
In my ricer days back in high school i wanted a Focus coupe so bad! lmao!!!
Yeah, i don't know why anymore.
Looks like designers are having a tough time being original.
As time goes new cars are introduced and i guess everything has been done before. (almost)

Thankfully, not everything has been done before. Take a look at the white Monte in the Aveo RS thread, and I prove my point. That car is a one of a kind. (I hope).

I think the big three are taking the lazy way out and just copying what ever design the imports are doing.

Well the imports are outselling them, so the philosophy right now is apparently "If you can't beat them, join them" and do whatever they do. It is a disappointment, but you have to build what people will buy...

Read this:

And look at this:

I'm sorry, it isn't my type of car, but it's nothing to sneeze at either. I think Ford is doing all the right things. I'd buy this over the Aveo ANY day.

Is the Focus really the competition for the Aveo???

I thought it was more Cobalt and Focus. The Aveo is just a cheap Korean car. I don't think the Focus is really that cheap to be its competition

True... Cobalt would be it's competition. Even so, I still stand by what I said. This is a far superior car than the Cobalt. However, the Cruze will be a nice addition to the Chevrolet stable. This Focus, I believe, will be better all around though.

IDK, the Cobalt SS with a turbo-charged 4L that put out 260HP (over 300 with a simple tune) and great styling seems much nicer than the Focus SVT which only saw 170HP (I believe)

I like the Cobalts. IMO, they are better looking too. And the Cobalt SS is hands down better than the SVT Focus.

The new Chevy Cruze is actually a pretty nice little car from what i've seen in magazines.
