I like it! I agree with all the folks who say itresembles the Mustang and the Charger and ....heck the Cadillac CTS for that matter. They all have simple classic muscle car lines with state of the art wind tunnel mods. There are so many basic shapes that meet those parameters. I don't agree that the similarity is a problem.
I'll take one of each of the new muscle cars. Well, you can have the Charger with extra hinges on it. I'll save the garage spot for my 2012 Monte SS.
I'm curous, has anyone heard any talk of GM reviving any of the A-Body brands. The Camaro is a good start, but I want to be in line for a brand new GTO!

I'm firmly in the Challenger camp, at this point in time. From the pictures I've seen, I just don't like thefront end(specifically the grille) of the Camaro - don't like it at all. However, I'm going to reserve final judgement until I seeboth of these cars for real.
Last week, I took my SS toa large GM dealership (where I bought it) for an oil change ($24.99). While I was waiting, I had a nice chat with the general manager. According to him, GM is hoping that the elimination of the Monte Carlo will fuel even more interest in the new Camaro, and that unless this proves to be drastically wrong, GM has noplans to revive the Monte.
