some cool pics so far everyone! 01 on air, that is an awsome house, do you live there or are you working on it for someone? very cool!

jomao, i gotta agree, turns house is, and has been my entire life, verrry creepy looking, but its truly an awsome old house, the celings gotta be like 10 feet high, and there are all kinds of neat details inside that you dont usually see on newer homes. the one room with the bumpout windows has a big player piano in it, and the garage in back is filled with all kinds of awards & plaques. i wanna head back one of these days & take some pics of the monte back by the sheds, that would make for a cool backdrop

I love pics of old houses. There are plenty of old farm houses out where I live. One show I love to watch (I don't think its on anymore - just reruns) is If Walls Could Talk on HGTV. People buy old houses and restore them and they find really cool stuff left in the attic, etc. I have my DVR record it for me so I can watch it when I get home from work.

amy, beleive it or not i remember the show you are talking about, my aunt used to enjoy it quite a bit & i started watching it when we would stay by her. havent cought an episode in at least a year, though.

01 on air ( i dont remember your name, lol), im in bushkill, which is a forgotten town north of stroudsburg, pa. the deleware river is right on the east edge of "town", or whats left of it.
the entire town, which used to be fairly large from the 1800's-1960's, was bought out in the 1970's and bulldozed for the propozed tox-island damn project, there were only a few residents who held out till the damn idea was shot down in congress due to unstable soil conditions.
the damn region was turned into the delaware national recreation aerea. resedents like Mr. Turn were allowed to stay in their homes untill they passed, but their kids were forced elsewhere, and the parks slowly took over the deeds to the remaining propertys & structures.

i gotta look through some other old pics i have & scan them onto the 'puter to share, i got some goodones somewheres, lol.
