Default My new toy.

Well after alot of waiting I finally got my new bike. It is a Bacchetta Corsa. It is really comfortable and pretty fast.

bet you are thinking wtf is that thing haha i did too when i first saw one.

Many of you may know I had some health issues on my Regular looking bike so I had to look for a Recumbent bike to get rid of the issues I was having.

I rode it around the block when i got home...but couldnt do alot more outside. it is freezing out. So I rode for a little over an hour on my fluid trainer.

so far i really like it but hopefully i will get to really test it out this weekend if the weather cooperates.

here it is

carbon forks

Nice bike Zach. You should have no problem putting miles on that.

How do you steer and pedal at the same time?

i thought the same thing when i rode on the first time. took me about 5 miles to get the steering down. I still get a little wobbly at times. I definitely gets alot of weird looks haha

i am hoping to double the amount I did my first season and ride 4000 miles

good thing about this is it is really easy on your back and neck so you can stay on it alot longer without pain.

really to steer the bars dont move much. with the front tire being under you makes it really sensitive. these bikes wouldnt be very good if you had to turn all the time and keep pedaling. i mostly ride trails so most is pretty straight.

side note..Bacchetta means "the stick" in Italian. since the frame is basically one tube i can see their name choice

I know a guy who rides one, He likes it and puts a lot of miles on it. I see it has yellow lettered tires. Cool. Enjoy.
